We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and committed individual to join us as a Mental Health Support Worker at Re-Boot Care Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ever-growing company still in its infancy. Re-Boot Care Services has been steadily expanding since 2018 and is now in need of multiple full time Mental Health Support Workers.

**Job description**:
**The role of support worker includes but is not limited to**:

- Support individuals with additional needs
- Encourage and assist our clients to partake in activities.
- Safely promote and encourage independence, choice, and community inclusion for our clients.
- Support, prompt and assist clients with domestic duties and meal preparation promoting independence wherever possible.
- Arrange scheduled activities with our clients, using their personal planners and encouraging them to follow the planned activities and attend appointments.
- Accompany clients to appointments or on outings in the community.
- Recording and reporting accurately and clearly on incident reports, ABC forms, daily notes, medication records and finance records.
- Encourage and support clients to maintain their emotional wellbeing and mental health, assisting them with the tools and strategies to do so.
- Safely supporting clients with the administration of medicines.
- Remain calm and level-headed in challenging situations.
- Be confident in lone working and be forward thinking.
- Have excellent communication skills to be able to communicate with individuals who use different methods of communication.
- Ongoing commitment to own personal development and training.
