Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Aviation Superintendent, based in Aberdeen
**Responsibilities**:
- Managing service provider performance
- The technical approvals within all areas of operational and technical activities, providing a high level of guidance and advice to the Company management.
- Conformity with all Company and legislative safety directives.
- Reducing safety, operational and commercial risks producing demonstrable results.
- Management of the aviation budget within the appropriate levels authorised
- Establishing the budget levels of expenditure for specific contractor and support services, and negotiation with the relevant third parties in the interest of the company
- Contract management, rotary wing, fixed wing, survival suit, vantage POB governance, Northern Lighthouse
- Strategy/planning/ Ownership and management of the flying schedule
- Decisions of helicopter type and scheduling
- Aviation Support Service Provider management.
- Managing service provider performance
- Resilience and reliability, on-time performance, monitoring and agreeing on performance incentives in line with agreed KPIs,
- Incident investigation of technical issues that lead to delays or unavailability of contract aircraft
- Tender negotiations for all services
- Facilitates aviation audits, expedite and close out any audit actions
- Ensures CAP437 compliance legislation for helicopter and helidecks, liaise with offshore ensuring that the design and ER equipment is available and compliant (in person).
- Ensures compliance to E&P Referential GS an CR for both fixed wing, helicopter, engineering and aircrews (helicopters spec, working time and pilot competence must meet the company specifications and standards).
- Aviation Invoice technical verification & approval
- Monthly activity reporting to Finance
- Monthly CPI & KPI Reporting
Experience & Qualifications:
- Solid Operations experience in an aviation/logistics settling
- Contracts Management experience at Senior level
- Functional knowledge of vantage POB/similar system
- Highly proficient in MS Office
- Resilience, problem solving skills, good attention to detail, analytical, ability to react to change, continuous improvement champion.
