Bill of Materials Coordinator

Can you help us? We’ve expanded rapidly and now need a Bill of Materials Coordinator to centralise and streamline our BOM processes moving forwards. We have lots of other challenging and rewarding Engineering and Design projects that you can get your teeth in to as well Maybe you can help us to upgrade our ERP System too? You’ll be based at our manufacturing site in Oakham.

**BASIC SALARY**: £25,000 - £30,000, dependant on your relevant experience

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Bills of Materials Co-ordinator, BOM Coordinator - Project, Engineering, Energy
Working closely with the technical, engineering and supply-chain teams - we need your help to streamline our Bill of Materials to include historical BOM’s and new BOM’s.
We have a wide range of engineered machinery and equipment that is constantly being updated and redeveloped. This means lots of changes to the BOM’s.
We also develop new machinery and equipment to match our customers’ requirements.
Some of our Bill of Materials have 100’s of different SKU’s - so they can be complicated and challenging.
An accurate Bill of Materials plays a vital role in helping us to better plan our manufacturing and to procure our raw materials, components, sub systems, and consumables more effectively.
This would suit a variety of backgrounds, so maybe you’ve been involved with CAD Administration, CAD Technician, Draughting, Design Engineering, Production Engineering, Supply-Chain, Production Planning or Procurement.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Bills of Materials Co-ordinator, BOM Coordinator - Project, Engineering, Energy
- Help us to standardise how we compile our Bill of Materials moving forwards
- Update our existing BOM’s
- Improve and develop our BOM processes
- Maybe be involved in ECN’s or Design Changes
- We also have some other engineering projects to keep you busy too

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Bills of Materials Co-ordinator, BOM Coordinator - Project, Engineering, Energy
- You will have a strong engineering background - likely mechanical, but we’re open minded
- Previously worked in a manufacturing / production environment
- You will have experience with Bill of Materials (building and amending ideally) and schematics
- You will be computer literate and have worked on ERP systems before

**THE COMPANY**:
We design and manufacture our own niche electro-mechanical special purpose machinery and equipment.
We supply machines and equipment to the National Grid / Power Grid & smaller energy contractors. We also supply into multiple industry sectors such as Civil Engineering & Telecoms, so you’ll be joining a very stable business within a strong industry sector.
