She Advisor

We have a new opportunity for a SHE Advisor to join our client based in Stockton.
This is a permanent role with an attractive salary and benefits package on offer working for a Company with over 25 years' experience providing operations management, engineering services and energy management solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work effectively and positively with all employees, customers, contractors, and visitors and align to the zero harm charter
- Champion corporate Safe Working Practices (SWP) across all sites
- Develop capabilities to act as Safe Working Practices and Control of Work (COW) specialist
- Provide relevant, accurate SHE advice, information and guidance
- Complete accurate internal and external audits, assessments and inspections particularly related to COW and SWP
- Review external audit and inspection reports
- Complete investigations into accidents and incidents, preparing accurate and timely reports and ensuring appropriate communication and close out of recommendations
- Prepare timely, accurate information for SHE communication mechanisms, including reports, manuals, newsletters, electronic comms, meetings, documentation and training sessions
- Provide behavioural SHEQ training to appropriate employees and external companies
**Requirements**:

- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Level 3 equivalent qualification in engineering or operations discipline
- Operational / engineering experience in a high hazard industrial industry such as energy, oil & gas or hydrocarbons processing
- Detailed working knowledge of safe systems of work / permit to work, including preparation and issue of safety documentation
- Delivery of training and presentations to internal or external personnel
- Experience of successfully working in and contributing to a workplace team environment
