**The post holder will be required to**: Design and deliver high-profile, cross-cutting transformational programmes to ensure the benefits and changes identified in the Trust and directorate business plans are delivered Lead one or more of the key Transformation Programmes, establishing yourself as the go-to expert for your portfolio. Adopt consistent, best-practice programme management methodology, ensuring programme outcomes are delivered to the right quality, on time and on budget As a key member of the Transformation Office Leadership Team, work in concert with colleagues to ensure the adoption and consistent application of project and programme governance and methodologies and a collaborative approach to planning and execution, ensuring truly integrated delivery Ensure robust programme management at every stage, taking a big picture view, delivering excellent project, financial and risk management, robust reporting and evaluation measures, appropriate change controls and effective communications. Ensure programmes are delivered in line with best practice, taking care to work with the Transformation Leadership Team to include updates to national, regional, local and Trust policies and guidance Ensure robust, evidence and insight-led decision-making and consistent project and programme documentation and governance in line with best practice, making sure your programmes are inspection ready at all times. Engage widely across colleagues, system partners, scrutiny offers and key stakeholders in the voluntary and community sectors to build relationships, join the dots between programmes, identify challenges and overcome barriers to effective integrated working Take primary responsibility for NHS Assurance processes for your programmes if / when appropriate Oversee and coordinate the colleagues reporting to the programme(s) and wider matrix teams, providing on-the-job opportunities for learning and development Ensure programmes have access to the right resources and expertise to deliver on time, on budget solutions with robust, budgeted transitions to business as usual Ensure the delivery of consistently high quality, timely project gateway documents and highlight reporting as appropriate to organisational, system and scrutiny timetables and requirements, attending to present your updates as appropriate Put people at the heart of our programmes, ensuring the agreed principles are front of mind in all decision making and organisational development is engaged with early Ensure proactive engagement with patients and the general public is undertaken as standard across programmes, encouraging listening, responsiveness and transparency Act as an expert in programme and change management using recognised best practice methodologies, leading multiple cross-cutting change programmes, and providing expert advice and support across the Trust to upskill individuals through on-the-job training and development Facilitate and contribute to external research projects as agreed for research and data collection purposes In partnership with the Transformation Leadership Team, design and implement a new knowledge management process to facilitate shared learning and ongoing benefits realisation Participate in the Directorates senior management 24-hour on-call rota with other senior colleagues
