**We are delighted to once again advise this Global BioTech in their search for Privacy Counsel to lead their UK & EU strategy.**

This corporation are seen as a true leader within their specialist field; US Based with an international reach. They have achieved significant growth over the past few years and show no signs of slowing down with expansion planned across all countries/ offices.

**The Role**

**This position comes with autonomy; you will be responsible for further developing and leading their Data Protection & Privacy strategy in UK & EU, reporting to the Global Head of Privacy (US Based.)**

They are seeking an individual with proven knowledge and recent experience in Implementing measures and a privacy governance framework, meanwhile being the POC for Data Protection & Privacy Queries and developing Privacy and Compliance training for seniormanagement.

This is a Global Corporation with a $3B + Revenue, and experienced Team of 11x UK Based Lawyers, set for further international growth now seeking a talented Privacy Counsel.

Due to the structure of the team, and this role reporting to the US Director - this role can be predominantly remote, from either London or Cambridge.

This position is open to those from a leading firm, seeking to transition inhouse, or those in a similar role, seeking more autonomy at a global brand.

The individual:

- You will ideally have 8PQE+
- Experienced or specialist in Data Protection & Privacy
- Experienced across UK & EU jurisdictions
- (Some exposure to US Laws, beneficial/ not essential)
- From a City practice, or international/ US based Company
- (Experience in BioTech, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industries is beneficial)
- Data Protection/ Privacy qualification is beneficial (CIPP, CIPT, ISEB)

Package & Benefits:

- Salary: £120,000 - £150,000
- Bonus: £Discretionary
