**Senior Offshore Renewable Energy Underwriter - £90,000 to £110,000 for London** We currently have an opportunity for an **experienced underwriter or broker**, who specialises in the field of renewable energy, to join our growing Renewable Energy and Engineering team. This would be a great job for someone who has gained excellent exposure recently to **underwriting Offshore wind,** and who has a strong network within the London Insurance market. **A bit about the job**: We are expanding our Renewable Energy offering and you will support this expansion in line with Aviva's ESG and Zet Zero ambitions. You will liaise regularly with a panel of brokers (both virtually and face-to-face), ensuring that strong working relationships are formed; undertake relevant underwriting tasks; and also be involved in strategic ideas and assist with product development, ensuring steady growth and success for this specialised area of underwriting. Aviva introduced "smart-working" in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a **commutable distance from our London offices.** **Skills and experience we're looking for**: - Prior / recent London Insurance Market experience - **Offshore Wind experience**: - thanks to undertaking a relevant underwriting or broker role recently - Excellent network knowledge of the London Broker market, matched with confident communication and relationship management skills - Ability to work collaboratively as you will have to work within a close-knit team - Portfolio management skills are highly desirable **What you'll get for this role**: - Annual salary of £90,000 to £110,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications). - Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8%, when you contribute 2%). - Eligibility for annual performance bonus. - Family friendly parental and carer's leave. - 29 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days. - Up to 40% discount for Aviva products. - Brilliant flexible benefits including electric cars. - Aviva Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme. - 21 volunteering hours per year. **Aviva is for everyone**: We flex locations, hours and working patterns to suit our customers, business, and you.
