Sales Consultants are based at various locations within the UK and are primarily responsible for sales within a specified locality selling our Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS and BMS) which is marketed under the name HeatingSave. However, the Sales Consultants are also responsible for some national accounts sales outside this area. The job of the Sales Consultant is to: - Maximise the number and the value of customer orders from the customers and perspective customers assigned to them. - Be aware of additional opportunities within their locality to sell more HeatingSave products and services. - Sell the HeatingSave BEMS & BMS. As the cost of gas, electricity and oil continues to climb higher, businesses need to install HeatingSave to cut their fuel bills.Buildings such as schools, care homes and small to medium sized businesses. Most of these have very simple time clocks and boiler thermostats to control the heating; a hopelessly inefficient system of control based on technology of 100 years ago. Some of the more modern buildings have improved upon this position by installing a BMS. These reduce the waste somewhat, but are often incorrectly set up or even switched to “manual” has they are too complicated to use. - HeatingSave is an award winning Energy Management & Control system that has saved between 25% and 50% off buildings’ fuel usage whilst still keeping everyone warm. Typical energy savings atr 25%, usually a lot more. HeatingSave uses occupancy sensors to turn down the heating when nobody is about and automatically turns it up when the building is occupied, which makes it particularly suitable for variably occupied buildings, which most are? - The beauty of HeatingSave is that is can be retrofitted to an existing central heating system - HeatingSave is inexpensive and simple to install with a fast payback. (1 to 3 years). It is approved by the Government, the Energy Savings Trust and OfGem. Sales Consultants are expected to travel to any part of the UK and Ireland. They must be professional, keen, enthusiastic people who have the energy and ability to win orders for HeatingSave. In the main, appointments are arranged by HeatingSave’s Internal Sales Executives. The Sales Consultant visits potential customers, demonstrates the products, provides a quotation to the customer and progresses this through to a customer order. We run a paperless office which is efficient and highly computerised. Potential applicants must have a proven sales track record and already be in sales either as a successful field sales executive selling BMS or technical software / hardware solutions or a desk based sales person wanting to move to a field based role. In either case you must have a proven track record and have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of either commercial heating systems or modern software technology, plus a clear understanding of how to exploit the marketplace. You will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of PC’s and be a good communicator. All new Sales Consultants receive full product training and training on how to use HeatingSave. After the initial training period on our HeatingSave BMS products, your job will be to specify and sell our products throughout the UK working within our existing, well established and successful sales framework. We will train you on new HeatingSave products as they become available so that you have a complete portfolio to offer customers. We will also provide the support and encouragement to help you to succeed. **The Company**: HeatingSave is part of Tensor plc is a world-class medium sized company who design, manufacture and install a range of Building Energy Management and Building Management Systems. Tensor also manufactures Smart Card and Biometric Time & Attendance, Access Control, security and security systems.
