**Role title: Therapeutic Horticulture Volunteer at the Bristol Royal Infirmary**
**Purpose of the role**:Supporting hospital patients living with dementia to engage in our weekly therapeutic gardening sessions at the Bristol Royal Infirmary's Sanctuary Square garden. You will help participants to engage in nature-based activities and with each other, with the aim of improving their wellbeing in a holistic way (mentally, physically, cognitively, socially).
**What you will be doing**:
- Helping set up resources and materials for activities
- Supporting participants socially and with nature
- based activities (gardening and green crafts)
- Passing on any queries or issues to project leaders
- Helping pack away at end of session

Sanctuary Square
- Internal Courtyard, Bristol Heart Institute, Bristol Royal Infirmary,
Terrell St, Bristol, BS2 8ED.
**Time**:
Wednesdays, 1:45 - 3:45
