As the enthusiastic and engaging Head of Service Delivery, you will be leading our Finance & Accounting (F&A) service on a day to day basis, taking our services to the next level F&A share services to around 40% of the NHS, it’s a big job, but your extensiveexperience plus the support of a knowledgeable and engaged team will set you up for success
Responsible for ensuring there is an excellent service in place, you will deliver a seamless customer journey. We have individual customers to collaborate with, and you will help to define and deliver transformation strategy that ensures we are aligned withour vision of being a truly customer-centric organisation.
As part of our senior management team, you will have outstanding leadership and influencing skills, and knowledge, understanding and experience of organisational change programmes. Flexible and adaptable, the ability to build and maintain positive relationshipsat all levels is key, from operational teams to partners.
**What you'll be doing**:

- Leading a transformation plan that prepares the service for the longer term future direction, aligned to the client and wider F&A business objectives.
- Delivering excellent F&A service covering the end-to
- end customer journey.
- Ensuring employee engagement plans are delivered in accordance with our People Strategy and actively respond to the Great Place to Work survey feedback.
- Developing and implementing a plan to deliver improved financial performance, in line with the agreed strategy of F&A
- Championing the use of technology in service development to provide efficiencies and an optimised service.
- Developing plans to drive further efficiencies to ensure that the service is bold in the marketplace.

**What you’ll bring**:

- A proven understanding of how people go through change and the change process, with experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent active listening skills.
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations, resilient and tenacious with a forward looking and broad approach.
- Technologically literate, ideally with experience of Oracle systems.
- Experience of working in an operational environment and of business process outsourcing
- Working knowledge of compilation, analysis and presentation of information at a strategic level

**It would be great if you had**:

- Knowledge, experience and understanding of the NHS Financial regime
- Qualified account, or relevant experience

**Employment Type**: Full-time, Permanent
**Location**:2 - 3 days per week in a Centre of Excellence (Bristol, Southampton, Leeds, Salford)

**Salary**:up to £80,000 per annum (depending upon experience and development needs)
