Trinity Business Support are currently working with a Sheet Metal Manufacturing company based in Newton Aycliffe who are looking to add an experienced Punch/Press Setter to their team.

**Main Duties**:

- To operate machinery in line with design specifications, quality standards and training metrices.
- To liaise closely with production leadership in order to clearly understand and agree production objectives.
- To ensure team, individual targets & objective are met in line with agreed dates.
- Performing efficient & reliable operations of various metal objects in line with the required quality standards
- To assist in evaluating engineering drawings and ensure their implementation according to the required specification.
- Perform all pressing, punching & fabrication tasks using various equipment & technologies. Transfer material within the factory as required.
- Demonstrate a solution orientated behaviour & a “Can Do” attitude with regard to problem solving and decision making & assist all other production areas as required.
- Maintaining a safe working environment inclusive 5’s

**Person Specification**:

- Good attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Engineering & material technology
- Good numerical skills and be able to interpret design drawings.
- Must be a good team player who is flexible in their approach to work.
- Has experience of Lean within the workplace.

**Pay Rates**:
Pay rates vary depending on your level of experience.

Pay during 6-month probationary period - £10.42PH

Pay rate Operator Level (after probation) - £10.54PH

Pay rate Setter/Operator Level (if fully skilled)
- £13.51

Our client currently work on a 4 day working week pattern - working 38 hours Monday - Thursday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42-£13.51 per hour
