**Vehicle Technician / Mechanic**

**Location**:Brighton, East Sussex**

**Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum**

**The Client**:
Our client is a long-established family run business encompassing one of the largest car dealers in Brighton. This highly successful business has a reputation of delivering customers the best cars and services. Today they lead the way in new and used carsales and offer the widest range of after sales services around.

**The Role**:
Our client is looking to find an innovative and motivated individual who will fill the role of a **Vehicle Technician**. Supported by up-to-date technology in their well-equipped workshop, you will be working on both cars and light commercial vehicles.

**About You**:

- You should be competent in and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in vehicle maintenance, repair, service and diagnostics.
- You should have previous dealership experience and a diagnostic understanding.
- You will need to be happy to work as part of a team and have an honest and diligent approach to work position.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Be able to offer a careful and considered approach to all repairs
- Follow manufacturer warranty processes
- Work effectively as part of a team and on one’s own initiative
- Have excellent time management
- Have good organisational skills and display accuracy in their work
- Hold NVQ 3, City &Guilds or equivalent qualification
- Be competent diagnosing vehicle faults and rectify
- Proficiently communicate and co-ordinate with workshop control and parts departments.
- A full UK driving licence is required

**Hours**:

- 8:30-17:30 Monday to Friday
- Saturday is a rota to work one out of three 8am until 1pm
