We are delighted to be offering an opportunity for a **Residential Support Worker and Senior Residential Support Worker** to join our Children’s Residential Home in Kirkby, Liverpool. We have an experienced Manager and Deputy Manager who have a long - standing working relationship and have achieved 'Outstanding' outcomes for children. As the company develops, there will be opportunities to further develop your professional practice and progress as part of your role.

**Salary**:
**Residential Support Worker: £30,000 inclusive of sleep - in**

**Senior Residential Support Worker/ Team Leader: £32,016 inclusive of sleep - in**

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To maintain a high quality of care and support which meets the physical,

emotional, intellectual, social and cultural needs of children within the care of

Sapphire Futures
- To provide a caring, supportive and nurturing environment in which children

can feel a sense of belonging whilst being safe, secure and free from harm.
- Being aware of the aims and objectives of the home and working

collaboratively with colleagues to achieve them.

**Special Conditions**:

- Staff are required to work within a rolling rota which consists of 2 on 4 off,

there is an expectation that the staff sleep in the staff facilities provided. A

sleep-in rate will be inclusive of staff wages. Staffing arrangements may be

altered at times due to the needs of the children.
- On occasions you will be required to support the children to enjoy holidays

away from the home. This could be holidays within the UK or abroad. All costs

paid.
- On occasions you may be requested to change your rota at a given notice as

per your contract, to ensure the contingencies of the service are covered. This

may also include covering an additional sleep-in duty as an emergency

measure.
- In some circumstances such as staff sickness, you may be required to remain

on shift to adhere to health and safety requirements. This will be managed by

the homes registered manager providing notice prior to the event.
- In accordance with the guidelines on Health and Safety, to accept

responsibility for working within these guidelines and reporting any concerns

to the Registered Manager.
- To undertake such other duties appropriate to the grade of the post and the

needs of the Home such as decorating, gardening in order to develop and

maintain service delivery.
- Holding a full driving licence is not essential but desirable. Staff can use their

own vehicle at discretion, costs of business insurance and millage will be

discussed with management prior to using the vehicle.
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- All staff MUST have a DBS check completed. It is your responsibility to update management at the earliest opportunity in regards to any changes.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,016.00 per year
