Welding & Fabrication Supervisor

Ripon, £33,421 basic + £2k bonus and overtime paid at 1.5x's, earning potential of £50k pa, life cover, accident policy and travel payments

Excellent opportunity to join a well-established business looking for a hands-on welding and fabrication team leader. You will ensure the smooth running of the production of a range of fabrications whilst meeting quality targets, trouble shooting and implementing improvements.

**The Role**:
Production planning, managing the production schedule and stock control
Managing man power and the allocation of overtime
Managing manufacturing projects from conception to completion
Work closely with maintenance and production teams to improve efficiencies and increase output.
Manage, motivate, train and develop of staff
Ensure work flow though all stages of production
Implements improvements where possible
Ensure the availability of stock items
Ensure compliance with all quality / ISO regulations and accreditations
Manage H & S requirements

**The Person**:
Experience in managing a busy fabrication & welding workshop
Able to work to production targets
Experience in implementing continuous improvements
Ideally come from a hands on fabrication background and moved into supervisory roles
Knowledge of fabrication processes, means and methods with the ability to train others
Experienced with MS office and MRP software packages
Dynamic, driven and focused on improvements
Commercially aware
