Roofing, Cladding, Facade Designer/draughtsman

**Lester Cladding North West are seeking an experienced Darughtsman/Designer to join our expanding and growing team.**

Lester Cladding North West Ltd are a family run business with a head office based in North Wales and has been trading for 37 years and further companies within the group structure. Operating in the roofing and cladding industry we are a leading contractor carrying out some high end prestigious works on new build and refurbishment projects.

Lester Cladding NW are recruiting for a full time Designer / CAD Technician to join our lively team in the Wigan office, with an immediate start.

**The Role**:
The individual for this role will be required to:

- Prepare working drawings on receipt of architect pre-design information
- Prepare preliminary / construction issue working drawings in a timely manner
- Meet deadlines set within contract terms
- Experience with a range of systems such as Kingspan, TATA Steel, CA, Euro Clad, Euro Bond, Firth Steel & Trimo Panel
- Prepare and quantify material schedules
- Work with the procurement team to source the correct materials for each project
- Communicate with site managers and team members to ensure a smooth running of operations

**The Person**:

- Experience in using CAD software and AutoCAD LT
- Knowledge of the roofing and cladding sector is ideal
- Knowledge of SFS and Facade systems
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines

**Additional Information**

**Job Type**:

- Office based working
- Full Time
- 8am - 5pm (1 hour lunch break)
- Permanent
- Salary TBC dependent on experience
- 28 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays) with increases based on length of service

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
