We have a great opportunity for experienced Support Workers to work with children and young people living in Coalville, Leicestershire.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be working with children aged 7 -18 years old with emotional behavioural difficulties.

Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will ensure that the young people receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs.

You will be offered high levels of continuous training, support, guidance, and an individual development plan for employees who are looking for fast track career progression.

**Responsibilities**
- Providing day to day support with daily living skills and encouraging young people to participate in activities and opportunities available
- Buiding strong relationships with the young people in your care, staff team, and external agencies in order to offer high levels of support.
- Carry out 1-2-1 sessions with young people, keeping accurate records and reports
- Responsible for safeguarding young people in your care

**Shift patterns**:

- Day shifts are 7:30 am - 23:00 pm
- You will be working on a rolling rota of 1 day on and 2 days off
- You will be required to work 6-8 sleep-ins per month.

**Requirements of a Residential Support Worker**
- Experience of working within a residential children's home is preferred
- An NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce or willing to work towards one
- Full driving license with access to own transport
- Ability to work shifts and sleep-ins

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,736.00-£23,712.00 per year
