The Little Learners Montessori's sister company; Montessori Apprentice Academy specialises in delivering Montessori and Early Years training within the nursery sector. With unrivalled breadth and depth of training, the company delivers learning solutions for apprentices as a main provider for the ESFA.

We are looking for a high energy, motivated and inspirational assessor who will work with the Training Centre Manager & Delivery Team to offer a high-quality curriculum and ensure an outstanding training experience for all learners. Our newly refurbished Academy and Offices are located in Watford, Hertfordshire.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Build and manage a caseload of learners across various sites.
- Support the development of learners Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours in line with the assessment plan.
- Assess learners within their own workplace environments.
- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Early Years up to level 5.
- Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English up to level 2.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners to develop the identified knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely assessments / contact, quality paperwork and general administration.
- Work to learner review and completion timescales.
- To attend and participate in standardisation and training events.
- Contribute to an annual SAR and support identified Quality Improvement Plans.
- To participate in regular professional development.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Appropriate professional qualification. (NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Childcare)
- D32/D33/A1 Assessor Awards
- Hold or be willing to work towards an Education and Training/ teaching qualification
- Understanding of different assessment methods and strategies to support effective learner development.
- Understanding of safeguarding requirements in a work-based learning environment.
- To have access to a suitable & insured vehicle or a willingness to use college provided transport to travel to different locations as required.
- Full driving licence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00 per year
