**Job Overview**
You will be someone who is dynamic, has the ability to work as part of a team, be able to use your initiative and time manage your day effectively to ensure the smooth running of our nursery continues.
You must be a team player and practive in your attitude and commitment to work.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team and help our brand new Nursery grow. You will work closely with the Nursery owners, Nursery Manager, Deputy manager, other staff, admin team, finance team and the Directors.
You will be someone who is mature, experienced and focused on delivering excellent standards of care with a natural ability to work as part of a team and always be willing to go above and beyond. Have full working knowledge of the EYFS including all paperwork plus working experience of OFSTED.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30 to 6pm
This role requires you to have an up to date pediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding, food hygiene and allergen awareness as a minimum + Full enhanced DBS and registered on the update service. This will be given once employment commences.
**Duties**
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children's exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's growth and development.
- Manage classroom behaviour by establishing clear expectations and promoting positive interactions among children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience, including outdoor play and community involvement.
**Requirements**:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's development through play-based learning.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: £6.45-£11.45 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
