**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate forklifts to load and unload goods from lorries and storage areas.
- Perform materials handling tasks, ensuring accurate placement of products within the potato shed.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Help with running of grader.

**Experience**
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Basic maths skills are required for inventory management and documentation purposes.
- Experience with heavy lifting and materials handling is necessary to perform job duties effectively.
- Familiarity with equipment repair processes will be beneficial in maintaining operational efficiency.
- Prior experience with potato shed and grading line.

Pay: £12.40-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
