We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Estates General Office team to provide a systems administration service and to contribute to performance monitoring.
We are looking to employee a highly motivated person to join the estates general office team in the role of estates systems administrator. This role will play an important part in providing support with progression of improvement and development initiatives.
The role will be based at North Tyneside General Hospital and is aligned to Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management Ltd.
A 12-month secondment opportunity will also be considered.
As a systems administrator for estates and facilities you will be responsible for providing support for the Estates systems and their users; undertaking a range of general systems administration tasks and delivering a range of administrative and project support services.
NHFM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Established in 2012, NHFM provide specialist project management services for large and small capital developments, estates maintenance and a full range of facilities services. Carrying out facilities management for a state-of-the-art specialist emergency care hospital - The Northumbria, three general hospitals - North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham hospitals - and a number of smaller community hospitals and clinic sites, we cover one of the largest geographical areas of any NHS trust in the country.
The post holder is a key member of the Estates Department taking day to day responsibility for all aspects of operational data management and providing administrative support to the team.
The post holder will support the team in data collection and analyses, including the production of regular activity.
The post holder will be responsible for updating and maintaining the Estates department’s asset register and undertaking audit of assets as part of the 5-year asset audit plan.
The post holder will play an active role in implementing identified improvement initiatives to support the estates and facilities teams, including undertaking data quality reviews, cleaning and coding.
The post holder will support and administer new and ongoing requirements to record additional data onto system modules to support changes in legal requirements.
The post holder will play a key role in promoting awareness of Estates services and making information on our service accessible to both clients and other health and social care providers using a range of internet and media formats.
