Fresh are a multi award winning student accommodation provider with over 20,000 beds in our portfolio across the UK & Ireland. We’re looking for someone to support their residence and the wider operational team.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will undertake minor reactive repairs and carry our planned maintenance works including; regular painting and decorating, health and safety checks, grounds maintenance, gardening, refuse and recycling management.

**As a Maintenance Technician, you will;**
- Undertake day to day repairs and maintenance; including _minor carpentry, joinery, changing locks, fitting internal doors, assembling and fixing of furniture._
- Complete minor plumbing repairs including; _unblocking toilets and sinks, changing sink wastes, identify/isolating/contain leaks, changing taps, showerheads and mixers._
- Be competent in and complete minor electrical maintenance including; _replacement of lamps and ballast replacement, changing plugs and fuses, installation of white goods, carry out visual PAT testing and emergency lighting checks._
- Undertake regular painting and decorating to all areas and pick up on all minor scuffs and damage to thorough fare to minimise the appearance of wear and tear to the general building and student accommodation.
- Undertake regular Health and Safety Checks on the fire protection systems, legionella water testing and ensuring general safe working practices and COSHH management.

**This role will suit you, if you are;**
- Able and competent with minor repairs, decorating residential building to a high standard.
- Able to organise and prioritise workloads.
- Experienced in a specialist trade; Carpenter/Joiner/Plumber etc or specialised in residential repairs and fit outs.
- A good communicator and always demonstrate professionalism, ensuring discretion and diplomacy when required and able to maintain confidentiality regards records and sensitive information.
