We are looking for a general Café Assistant to join our busy team here at Café Ambio, J36. At Café Ambio we make everything on site from cakes, bakes, specials and deli items. We proudly hold a 5 star EHO food rating. We are the sole catering provider to North West Auctions Weekly Auctions, J36 Exhibition Hall (offering a range of buffets) and our own Function Suite.

As a general Café Assistant the role is primarily front of house based, serving on the counter, making drinks, taking orders etc. but will also require some kitchen work to cover chefs days off and holidays. What the role entails:

- Serving customers.
- Till work.
- Cash handling
- Making hot and cold beverages.
- Talking to customers.
- Cleaning.
- Washing up.
- Assisting in the kitchen.
- Baking.
- Food production.

What's required:

- Baking experience.
- Food production experience.
- Till experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Barista experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

- Hours are 8.30am - 4:30pm any 5 days from 6. We are usually closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Occasional evening work will be requires. Closed for the majority of the festive period.
