**Overview of role**
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Payroll Administrator to support the smooth running of our people operations at The Coniston Hotel. This is a hands-on, administration-focused role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong systems knowledge, and the ability to drive tasks through to completion.
Reporting to: General Manager
**Main responsibilities**
HR Payroll Administration
- Be the administrator for our Time and attendance software, RotaReady, assisting Managers and Head of Departments to use the system.
- Monitor rota preparation and sign off, helping to ensure that all rotas are visible and signed off in advance of key milestones including monthly payroll run.
- Liaise with the Finance team to ensure the payroll information from Rotaready is complete, accurate and timely.
- Work with finance to ensure that staff adjustments and additional payments such as gratuities and accommodation rental are processed correctly
- Work with the finance team in managing the company pension scheme.
- Support payroll reporting processes including monthly checks and updates to staff data.
- Ensure that employee records and documentation are up to date within our HR software solutions.
Training Compliance
- Act as administrator for CPL Online, ensuring team training records are up to date and compliant with role requirements.
- Arrange external training with consultants and suppliers in collaboration with department managers.
- Provide reports and statistics to HODs and Managers on training compliance and backlogs, highlighting areas requiring attention.
Recruitment Onboarding
- Manage the administration of Recruit Genie, ensuring recruitment processes are followed, advertisements are prepared and launched, and documentation is complete and compliant.
- Liaise with our marketing team to ensure that vacancies are pushed out on our Social channels
- Support onboarding processes including offer letters, contract preparation, and document checks through RecuitGenie. This includes ensuring that references are received for all employees.
- Maintain the new starter and leaver processes within RecuitGenie and Rotaready, ensuring accurate records and coordination with payroll.
Reporting Systems
- Generate regular reports on key people metrics including training status, absence, and onboarding progress.
- Assist Managers and Department Heads to monitor and system use across all departments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
