To act as a specialist nurse providing a service that positively impacts on the experience of patients and carers, ensuring the delivery and maintenance of a high standard of care that is patient centred and evidence based.
The post holder will work with direction form the Consultants and Dermatology practitioners.
- To develop and extend specialist clinical skills and knowledge in Dermatology.
- To contribute towards the smooth running and development of the department through effective teamwork.
- To provide evidence based care in line with current research and guidelines.
- To act as a source of knowledge and support to multidisciplinary teams within primary and secondary care.
- To work in collaboration with other colleagues and members of the multidisciplinary team to plan, deliver and evaluate evidence based specialist programmes of care and support to patients and their families.
The Dermatology Department is seeking Practitioner to join the friendly Dermatology department o support the Consultants/Multi-Disciplinary Team in the delivery of dermatology care to a wide range of patients.
The post hold will work in a small team of practitioners with supervision from Advance Practitioners, ability to make and maintain effective working relationships is paramount. you will need to be flexible to changing service needs.
There is the opportunity for further development with access to Advance practitioner modules in History taking and physical examination as well as training to develop skills in practitioner surgery, undertaking biopsies and other small surgical interventions
