**A Personal Care Assistant is required for 4 hours on Monday mornings to support a gentleman who has mobility and speech difficulties, allowing his wife some respite time.**

**The hours are: 7.15 am till 11.15 am**
The gentleman is in a wheelchair and has a progressive neurological disease and requires assistance to transfer him from wheelchair to the mini lift onto the commode, therefore experience with **moving and handling** would be an advantage. Duties include: showering, personal care, support and companionship, the gentleman has many interests, such as photography, music, politics etc.

As he has a progressive disease there will be extra hours available in the future.

The gentleman lives in the Scalby area of Scarborough; therefore a car driver would find it an advantage as there is not a frequent bus service.

A DBS is required for this position

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour

Schedule:
