Senior Paraplanner

**Overview**:

- An experienced paraplanner in Hailsham is required to join a well-respected independently owned Independent Financial Adviser firm, working alongside a team of chartered financial planners.

**Remuneration**:

- £35,000 - £45,000 basic plus, Pension, & DIS

**Main Duties**:

- Working as a level 4 diploma qualified paraplanner in the Hailsham area, you will work alongside a very successful independent financial adviser, offering full administrative support including writing suitability reports and reason why letters.
- As well as writing detailed and compliant reports, you will also be responsible for product research including lump sum investments, pensions including pension transfers, pension consolidation and mortgage business.
- Not only as a paraplanner based in the Hailsham area, dealing with pension and investment business, you will also handle mortgage new business.
- As a level 4 diploma qualified paraplanner living in the Hailsham area, you will be required to obtain the product key features documents. Liaising with pension, investment, and mortgage providers, to keep updated with any changes in policies.
- Another key part of the paraplanner role is to support the IFA in client meetings, including scheduling, valuations, key features documents and other documentation.
- You will also act as the first point of contact to clients, clear up any queries as well as keeping them updated with the pension and investment business.

**Key Skills**:

- The level 4 diploma is essential and ideally as an experienced paraplanner in the Hailsham area, you should be working towards Chartered status.
- Attention to detail including proofreading for grammar, spelling, and punctuation, along with excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities are a necessity to work in this fast-paced environment.
