We have recently invested in our Kitchen area and with a Food Hygiene Rating of 5, we are now seeking to recruit a FullTime Experienced Kitchen Assistant/Bar Person, to enable us to continue to deliver a positive, consistent catering and bar experience to our members, their guests and visitors.

This role is divided into working in the kitchen and the bar area.

Responsible for the assisting in the day to day running of a efficient food service so that members and visitors have a positive experience whilst they enjoy any aspect of the catering offering. This includes cooking bar snacks, food preparation for functions, some kitchen porter duties, serving at functions, covering sickness and holidays.

Working behind the Bar, Serving drinks to our members, Visitors and Guests. Keeping the bar area clean and tidy. Opening and closing of the Bar. Cashing up at the end of the day.

Main Responsibilities:

- To prepare bar snacks, cook and deliver dishes from our various menus to the standards required.
- To create and develop new dishes for our daily Specials Menu.
- Food preparation for functions.
- Flexibility in working hours, some evenings and weekend work.
- Ensuring all Health and Safety food practices are consistently adhered to - Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.

- Mature outlook, Good communication skills, Highly motivated, The ability to remain calm under pressure, Strong commitment to openness, honesty and inclusiveness, Flexible, especially with the regard to additional hours/shift patterns, To be clean and tidy, conforming to all food and hygiene legislations, Self starting, proactive individual with strong quality and delivery standards, comfortable working in a small efficient team

Minimum of 3 Years experience in similar role.
