Gloagburn is a well established family owned restaurant and farm shop on the outskirts of Perth, PH1 1QL.

Our 130 cover restaurant is open 8.30am to 5.30pm serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea for up to 500 covers per day, with the emphasis on good quality, seasonal, local and Scottish produce. In addition we hold steak nights on the last Friday in the month October through March and have an onsite take away unit open for the summer months.

Our busy and recently expanded Farm shop includes all the local produce you would expect as well as ingredients from around the world, our own bakery and in house butchery products.

**The job**

We have a vacancy for a kitchen porter / assistant to complete our kitchen team. The position is for four or five days per week working 7.30am - 5pm on a rota basis, weekends are involved but no evenings.

This role is vital to the production and service of food in our coffee shop. You will be providing support for the kitchen and waiting teams, assisting in the preparation of food, washing of dishes and kitchen equipment, the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen, storage, recycling and refuse areas, collecting fire wood, assisting with set up of fresh produce for retail. Opportunities to develop within the business are available.

**Due to our rural location it is essential that applicants have access to their own transport, the local bus service is not convenient for our shift patterns**
