**Delivery Driver/General Assistant**

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Delivery Driver/General Assistant to join the team in our Howdens Garden Centre.

The hours for this position are 15 hours per week over 2 days may include weekend shifts so flexibility is a must.

Our competitive rates of pay range from £9.00-£10.46 per hour dependent on age.

**The Role**

As a Delivery Driver/General Assistant you will play a critical role in the smooth and safe operation of our Warehouse and Good-in area as well as carrying out customer deliveries. Safe vehicle operation and excellent customer skills will be essential for this role.

**What you will be doing as a Delivery Driver/General Assistant?**
- Merchandising stock
- Carrying our customer deliveries
- Any other duties associated with a retail environment.

**What makes you our perfect Delivery Driver/General Assistant?**
- Strong customer service skills.
- Full understanding of safe warehouse operation and manual handling.
- Forklift Licence and Driving License
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail when checking stock
- Hardworking
