Uniquely Scotland is a multi award winning tour operator providing tailor-made driver guided, train and self drive itineraries all over Scotland. We have an exciting opportunity for a freelance consultant to assist with developing the award winning Uniquely Scotland brand for an initial 8-month period starting in Mid-late Feb 2025. The position is diverse and will include working with and creating holidays of a lifetime for people from all over the world.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Itinerary planning for clients for driver guided, train and self-drive itineraries/responding to client enquiries
- To make the clients trip the best experience possible so that their memories will last a lifetime.
- General administration work including handling bookings and diary management, invoicing and issuing of tickets
- Researching and booking hotels, restaurants and other services
- Liaising with accommodation providers, visitor attractions and clients to ensure that everything is efficiently organised in a timely fashion
- Marketing: Social media, news blogs, press releases and working with other tourism bodies such as Visit Scotland
- Assisting with the accounts and book keeping

**Skills required**:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent IT skills, especially using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent people skills, enthusiasm and a passion for Scotland
- Previous experience working in the travel industry preferred although not essential
- An outgoing, confident, ‘can do’ personality
- Good geographical knowledge of Scotland, its history, heritage and culture and an interest to continuously develop this knowledge
- Provide a professional, personal and friendly client service
- Full driving license

**Job specification**:
The role is 2-3 days per week 09.00-17.00, although during very busy times there may be an opportunity to work 4 days per week. Competitive base salary plus commission. The initial work term will run until 31 October 2025 with the possibility of an extension for the right person.
