Birchington Auto Repairs limited MOT & Service Centre is a busy local garage specialising in MOT testing, vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs for a wide range of vehicles, from cars to light commercial vans. We have a busy team, carrying out MOT Tests, vehicle repairs and servicing to our loyal customers. We take pride in our reputation and are looking for a Service Advisor/Receptionist to join our busy workshop office in Birchington Kent.
**Job Overview**:
As a Service Advisor/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive the highest standard of service through the entire process, making sure of a smooth customer experience from start to finish. You will play a key role in the daily operation of the bussiness, managing bookings, coordinating with workshop manager, technicians & accounts dept
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Communication**: Answer incoming calls, address customer inquiries, and provide updates once work has been completed.
- **Customer & Work Management software**:To be confident using our management software for customer and vehicle details (training given).
- **Job Scheduling**: Book in customer jobs and appointments for Maintenance, Repairs, MOT and servicing, ensuring efficient scheduling and workload management
- **Estimates and Invoicing**: To collate estimates for repairs and services, generate job sheets for our technicians from software package, process invoices upon job completion and collecting payments.
- **Office Administration**: Perform general office duties such as filing, record-keeping, and maintaining a well-organised workspace.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Customer Service Experience**: A strong background in delivering excellent service, with confidence in speaking face to face with customers.
- **Driving Licence**: A full UK Driving Licence is preferable but not essential.
- **Industry Experience**: Previous experience in the motor industry is desirable but not essential.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to succesfull out comes on a daily basis.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong organisational skills with the ability to work unflustered to timescales, with a keen eye for detail.

Contract length: Permanent
Pay; £12 per hour or salary £23,400 per year
Work days; Monday
- Friday
Expected hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm although the start and finish time can be subtly negotiable
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- Organisational skills: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
