Do you want to play an important role making sure London is a safe city for all?

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is the organisation through which the Mayor of London exercises his role as the Police and Crime Commissioner for London and is led by the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime. MOPAC undertakes a broad range of statutory duties and works closely with the Mayor of London, Deputy Mayor and Metropolitan Police Service to deliver the priorities that will create safer London communities.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Policy Officer in MOPAC’s Directorate of Strategy and MPS Oversight. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for improving the lives of Londoners and who can thrive in a fast-paced environment working on high-profile issues related to policing and crime.
You will play an important role in overseeing and supporting the Metropolitan Police Service to reform so that it provides an efficient and effective service to all Londoners. You will lead on specific policy areas relating to crime types or policing functions, providing clear advice and briefings direct to senior officials and political principles, and working collaboratively across MOPAC, the GLA and wider partnerships. You will ensure your work is evidence-based and inclusive.
