**Finance and Accounts Assistant (30 hours per week)**

We are a national web design franchising company based in Torquay, Devon, and we’re looking for a talented finance and accounts assistant to join our fast-growing team and provide excellent administrative support for our finance & accounts team, franchisees, and customers.

**About the role**

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Recording financial transactions in the accounting software.
- Maintaining customer records.
- Credit control and debt chasing.
- Customer invoice processing.
- Processing payments.
- Assisting the finance and accounts team with any ADHOC duties as required.
- Supporting the finance team with purchase and sales ledger as well as general accounting duties.

**About You**:

- Proactive, enthusiastic, and professional

- Enjoys collaborating as part of a close-knit team
- Self-motivated and able to work to deadlines

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience using an accounts software in a similar role essential
- The ability to manage a varied workload
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Able to quickly learn new systems (training provided)
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service experience desirable
- Confidence to work independently
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work flexibly to meet deadlines and react to changing priorities
- Great organisational skills
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- GDPR awareness and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
