**The Position**: We’re looking for a skilled graphic designer. The pay range we’re offering is from £35,000 to £40,000.

**Requirements**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Graphic Designer (Full time) to join our leading digital and creative agency based in Leeds.

A Graphic Designer, or Commercial Artist, creates designs or visual concepts that deliver information through imagery, art and photographs. Their duties include liaising with a client to determine what kind of work and concepts the client has, generate ideas and create layouts that align with the client’s wants and needs.

Duties and responsibilities:
A Graphic Designer conceptualises and generates complete imagery to relay a message in a way that pleases the eye of the viewer. In order to achieve this goal, the designer has to be capable of production in multiple media formats while keeping the client’s needs at the forefront during production. Some major duties and responsibilities of a Graphic Designer include:

- Creating materials by hand or use technology and creative software suites to generate illustrations, layouts and designs
- Designing brochures, magazine covers and backs, billboards, brochures, web pages, advertising for a variety of media formats and annual reports
- Generating drafts and mockups of proposed designs for the client to review and make revisions as requested
- Maintaining client communication from project start to finish
- Reviewing final work with clients and make final revisions or deliver the product to the client

If you've got some examples of graphic or web design work you're proud of, and want to build on this and put your skills into practice, you’ll fit in perfectly Prior education or graphic design experience is beneficial and ongoing training will be provided during the role, through on the job learning within our design team.

The primary focus of this role is assisting with multi-channel design and artwork to support the Senior Graphic Designer and design team's varying projects for clients across sectors. Experience using Adobes creative suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) along with branding and layout design skills are beneficial to the requirements of the role. In addition to this, demonstrable experience of digital and print design would be also advantageous.

Working as part of a close-knit team you will assist with the design, development, and artwork for print, digital, web and social media for a wide and varied client base. You will also be required to have input in the UI/UX design on existing websites and build as well as being involved with print production with external suppliers.

**Skills Required**:
A minimum of two years' experience/education in graphic design.
Working knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite - especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (Mac based).

Have a great portfolio showcasing unique creative ideas and passion for design

**Desirable but not essential**:
You have worked with software such as XD, Figma or Sketch

Qualification: Masters Degree is must.
