**Assistant Garden Designer**

**Full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday**

**£28,000 - £34,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits**

We are GreenArt; setting the standard for creating, developing and caring for beautiful gardens for clients across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Our aim is to provide them with amazing spaces that are rich in life and designed for resilience.

Our continued growth, both of our teams and new client projects, has prompted the need to recruit this new role, reporting into our Managing Director/Head of Design and supporting the design and delivery of bespoke, sustainable garden projects.

**Responsibilities**:
In particular you will:

- Attend client meetings, take full briefs and respond with ideas, advice, designs and costings
- Work through full detailed plans and planting schemes through to sign off with the client, both independently and as Assistant to the Head of Design
- Liaise with our Landscaping Standards Manager, Team Leaders and Coordinators on all aspects of project design, supplies, timescales and logistics
- Remain in close contact with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to successful conclusion

**Experience**:
Qualified in Landscape Architecture or Residential Garden Design with strong plant knowledge and at least 2 years’ design experience in large, challenging projects, you will be adept at interpreting client requests with vision and creativity, whilst keeping a keen eye on the practicalities of implementation and cost-effectiveness. Experience of designing climate resilient, regenerative and biodiverse gardens would be a distinct advantage.

As a great communicator you will ensure all stakeholders - from our in-house teams to the client themselves - are consulted, included and kept informed at all stages of the project, using your patience and persistence in equal measure to ensure we continue to exceed client expectations.

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
