An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trust as the Care Accreditation Lead. The post holder has a key role in the development of the Care Accreditation Programme in line with the ESNEFT Trust Strategy and the Quality Strategy. The successful applicant will show outstanding leadership and project management qualities and will be responsible for planning and implementing the Care Accreditation Programme with the Deputy Chief Nurse, Quality and the clinical teams delivering care.

This is an amazing opportunity to work with senior leaders across the organisation to plan the ESNEFT framework for Care Accreditation.

Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only
- The Care Accreditation Lead will plan, coordinate and organise the ESNEFT Care Accreditation Programme and implement an on-going programme to support ESNEFT in carrying out its goal to commence accredited status throughout the organisation.
- Develop a set of standards against which to measure quality of care which demonstrates improvement
- The Care Accreditation Lead will lead the planning, implementation, and coordination of the accreditation preparation and assessment process.

- Ensure that the ESNEFT Care Accreditation programme delivery is achieved
- Work collaboratively with Senior Staff to develop the Care Accreditation programme
- Work collaboratively with the Divisional Directors, Associate Directors of Nursing, Operational leads, and other colleagues to ensure that service delivery and improvement plans are developed, implemented and reviewed
- Ensure that financial controls are established and maintained within the relevant departments
- Work in partnership with colleagues across the Trust to drive the achievement of the Trust’s corporate goals and business plan, including the achievement of all the relevant performance standards incorporating quality, safety, contractual, financial and people and this will be done through the delivery of the Care Accreditation Programme
- Act as an ambassador for the Trust, ensuring the positive development of the Trust brand, championing the Trust’s values
- In collaboration with Senior Staff, develop the agreed model for Care Accreditation
- Develop the implementation programme for Care Accreditation based on national guidance and best practice
- Collaborate with staff across the organisation to develop specialty specific care accreditation programmes ensuring all areas are captured to promote effectiveness, accountability and sustainability of ESNEFT Care Accreditation
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to share knowledge in accreditation to incorporate current best practices in service delivery
- Prepare policies, briefing documents, evaluation report, presentations and Board reports, providing assurance of traction of implementation and progress of actions
- Work closely with the Quality Improvement team, ensuring emerging activities are aligned to QI and the Trust Strategy.
