Team Leader Studio Bookings

The role of the Team Leader in Studio Resources & Planning is to line manage and develop the people functions within the Studio Bookings team.

A key aspect of this role is to support the build of realistic and effective craft rosters, ensuring the team maintain data accuracy and limit any impact to crews while covering short notice absences and responding to production challenges.

This is a key role that will strive to continually improve our team’s collective & individual development, and engagement with a clear strategy that supports our current and future operations.

What you'll do:

- Working closely with Craft Team Leaders and the Planning and Roster Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day performance and line management of the Studio Bookings Assistants.
- Lead and align the overall team development plan to support the rostering needs of the crews we look after.
- Deliver effective performance reviews and personal development plans.
- Establish a clear structure for succession planning and future career pathways.
- Deliver a recruitment strategy that ensures our team has the skills and expertise to continuously support our crews and our clients, whilst crafting a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Have a clear understanding of demand and future requirements to support rostering activities across all crafts.
- Produce materials and deliver team training to ensure a consistent approach to managing our internal resource planning and invoicing systems.
- Work with Sky’s resource planning tool product teams to feedback and evolve workflows, engage in UAT testing and act as point of escalation for all Studios users
- Ensure the Health & Wellbeing of our people remain a priority in our day-to-day operations
- Promote and encourage inquisitive behaviour to ensure our team continues to evolve and innovate.
- Energise all forms of our communication to strengthen morale and engagement in the team.
- Instil a sense of community by building trust, through inclusion and transparency around decision making.
