**Wholesale Warehouse Operative (Picking)**

Working directly with the Wholesale Warehouse Manager and Wholesale Warehouse Supervisors, as our Wholesale Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring all chilled orders are manually picked and packed following our date protocol. The orders are diverse so making sure they are labelled correctly is key. Appropriate PPE is provided for the chilled areas.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To identify chilled and ambient products, accurately pick ready for packing
- Pack customer orders correctly
- Ensure correct batch code information is carried forward on the labels and pick sheets and other relevant packing sheets
- Ensure Products are in date as per pick sheets
- To process paperwork accurately and efficiently in line with departmental policy and set procedures ensuring full traceability
- Alert Line manager of any non-complaint issues such as out of date or short dated products upon discovery during picking and packing process
- Securing of all products to pallets to reduce damage in transit
- Control of CCP’s for chilled goods to ensure temperature control (2-5*C) are maintained in line with HACCP requirements
- Picking and packing of products compliant with technical standards
- Operating a Forklift or reach truck where necessary
**Person Specification**:

- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Good mathematical skills
- Punctual
- Being able to forward plan to ensure effective and smooth work flow
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
**Compensation details**:

- Salary **£10.85 per hour**:

**Working Hours**:
We are open 7 days a week and this role will involve you working 5 days a week on the below shifts which includes weekends. The standard shifts are 9 hours with a 1 hour break.
The standard shifts would be:
**14:00 - 23:00 (Monday to Friday)**
**10:00 - 19:00 (Saturday)**

Wholegood is based in a Warehouse in Greenford, West London.
