Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of cask ales & wines, and the ability to work well under pressure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of cask ale management is a must
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Exceptional hospitality skills to provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

The Queens Head is set just 3 miles from Windermere in the beautiful surroundings of the Troutbeck Valley. This iconic building benefits from original features, open fires, amazing views of the Cumbrian hills and 10 beautiful letting rooms.

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
