The Operations Director is the business owner for assigned depots with a revenue stream of circa £100m

Primary accountability is all elements of Senior Team and Site Leadership, maximisation of sales & profit and the optimisation of costs, processes and efficiencies to enable delivery of business targets

You will be responsible for a number of national projects and a key decision maker and influencer of the overall strategy of our business

**Description**

To influence not only the peer group but also the wider Leadership Team to drive change to meet the businesses triple bottom line strategy. Responsible for all elements of delivering successful revenue and contribution targets in terms of revenues, costsand profits. Full accountability and KPI ownership of all critical numbers and key ratios forming a part of the commercial landscape

To manage and optimise of all key transport management KPIs relating to delivery, legal requirements and accident prevention. To manage all systems, processes, procedures and training so as to support Corporate Accident Prevention and Management objectives.

To meet and exceed all critical H&S corporate and regional objectives and seek to make continual improvements to core standards, processes and practices. To meet and exceed all agreed Site safety, food safety, environmental and security standards for people,product, monies and intellectual property.

**Profile**
- Proven experience at Director level within a fast paced logistics environment is essential
- Ongoing analysis of external market behaviour to maintain competitive advantage.
- Proven high level leadership skills, to achieve the required performance through training and

development, and recruitment where applicable.
- Proven capability and experience in managing and influencing own team, peer group and senior

stakeholders.
- Budget management and Commercial thinking with relevant experience and an awareness of latest

industry practices.

Proven abilities in Sales, Change Management and Customer focus (internal and external).

Proven experience in delivering results, creating opportunities for innovation and managing change

**Job Offer**

£110,000 - £125,000
