Experienced Waiter/waitress

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service
- Clear tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the dining area
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff when required
- Handle guest enquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and wine or beverage pairings

**Requirements**:

- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen environments is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash or card transactions
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
