Senior Statistician

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Senior Statistician to join a brilliant pharmaceutical establishment on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere within the UK, US, Germany or Belgium. Our client is focused on improving the life of many who suffer from various illnesses.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as the 'Trial Statistician' for one or more clinical development projects to manage statistical activities within the companies Rare Diseases and/or Immunotherapy portfolios, providing expertise into study design, statistical analysis and the interpretation and reporting of results.
- Provide expert technical and strategic guidance to CRO partners and vendors regarding outsourced statistical deliverables, including serving as the key point of contact for external vendors regarding project milestones and the QC of deliverables.
- Contribute to and lead, when required, activities towards regulatory submissions including directo communications with regulatory bodies, cross-functional teams and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform exploratory statistical analyses to gain insights into the performance and development of new and existing compounds and methodologies. Where appropriate, drive innovation by developing and implementing novel statistical methodologies.

**Requirements**:

- PhD (preferred) or MSc Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or related.
- Extensive experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO sectors.
- Knowledge of programming within SAS or R.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and submission-related activities.
