WE HAVE AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A JUNIOR BUYER ON OUR OWN LABEL MTO DEPARTMENT, IDEAL FOR AN EXISTING JUNIOR BUYER LOOKING FOR THEIR NEXT CHALLENGE OR A SENIOR ASSISTANT BUYER WHO IS READY FOR PROMOTION. The role of junior buyer at Office is to drive the development and buy of the Mens Footwear department, demonstrating a keen fashion awareness, an eye for trends and a passion for footwear. We are looking for a highly commercial, enthusiastic, organised and hard working individual. You will be expected manage a small team, whilst supporting the Head of the Department to plan, source, develop and buy a commercial, comprehensive and balanced range. Key Responsibilities: Day to day, you’ll liaise with external suppliers, as well as your colleagues, building excellent working relationships and proactively dealing with department queries both internally and externally. In conjunction with your Merchandise and Design team you will be responsible for the management of the development, range building and negotiation of the range as well as maintaining the critical path. You should have exceptional knowledge of trends and our competition’s product ranges, using your knowledge to help drive the strategy and support the growth of the department. **What we are offering you**: - Junior Buyer or Senior Assistant Buyer with buying experience - Experience buying men’s footwear is desirable - ideally both long and short lead - Must have experience of Buying footwear (of any gender) with a passion for men's product - Highly organised - Good communicator - Enthusiastic about fashion & product - Dynamic & proactive - Great team
