**We have an exciting new opportunity for a Warehouse Operative based at our K1 site in Westmorland Business Park, Kendal, this a busy and rewarding environment and a great opportunity to develop your career within Anord Mardix.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant PDA/Documentation
- Operate plant and equipment required to carry out tasks
- Goods are accurately received and booked into the WMS
- Assist with the distribution of material from internal and external sources
- Stock is accurately put away and recorded using the WMS
- Accurately pick stock using the WMS via various methods
- Ensuring a continuous supply of materials to production lines.
- Providing the specified workstations with sufficient quantities of parts.
- Maintaining a continuous flow of materials to the specified production lines.
- Works from requisition, order list or stock list to pull required items.
- Uses a checklist as items are pulled to ensure kit accuracy.
- Accumulates orders, reports shortages and transports completed orders to distribution point or staging area.
- Processes returned items and unscheduled issues.
- Compiles and maintains inventory of material received, stocked, and issued.
- Make continuous efforts to improve the standard of warehouse housekeeping especially areas assigned to dispatch to reach world class manufacturing standards
- Providing immediate information on any material shortages detected
- Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental regulations
- Attend the training courses required for his/her group or classification
- Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines

**Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to organise own workload and use initiative
- Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives
- High level of organisation
- Efficient with thorough methods of working
- Proficient at the use of Microsoft office

**Training and Qualifications**
- Counterbalance forklift (B1) (Training given)
- Reach forklift (D1) (Training given)
- Powered pallet ruck (Ride On) (Training given)
- Stacker Pallet Truck (Training given)
