**Job description**
**Aim of the role**:
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters, with a focus on customer and supplier contracts;
- Support the General Counsel and Company Secretary / legal team in dealing with the legal aspects of any acquisition activity for the group;
- Support the General Counsel and Company Secretary / legal team with company secretarial matters and other corporate work.
**Key Objectives**:
- Lead the provision of legal reviews and advice in relation to commercial contracts entered into by the business, including customer and supplier agreements, contract novations, non-disclosure agreements and public sector frameworks;
- Liaise with commercial and operational stakeholders to keep abreast of renewal dates of agreements to ensure the business is contracting on the most up to date versions of its master services agreement;
- Work with the business to prepare summaries of contracts for approval by the Board where applicable;
- Maintain and update Redcentric's precedent bank of legal documents;
- Advice in relation to contractual disputes with customers/ suppliers and management of external counsel where necessary;
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of training to relevant stakeholders in the business;
- Support with tasks around any acquisitions undertaken by the group, including assisting with any legal steps post acquisition to integrate and align a business with the group;
- Support with the preparation for the annual general meeting and any extraordinary general meetings of Redcentric plc and with the Redcentric annual report and accounts;
- Assisting with the preparation and release of stock exchange announcements;
- Support in relation to administration of the group share option schemes including preparation of documents relating to board approval of scheme launches, option exercises and liaising with Redcentric's registrars and nominated advisers as necessary to ensure compliance with AIM Rules.
**Person Specification**
- Qualified solicitor with experience in commercial and company law; minimum 1+ years PQE
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to stakeholders at different levels within the business;
- Strong grounding in commercial contracts;
- Dynamic individual who is adaptable to different situations;
- Ability to build relationships and trust with stakeholders;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally;
- Customer-focused;
- Professional, positive, confident and friendly;
- Highly self-motivated;
- Ability to work well under pressure within a busy environment and prioritise tasks accordingly;

**Hours of Work**
The Company's standard hours of work are 9.00am - 5.30pm (3.30pm on a Friday) with one hour for lunch, however, given the nature of the role, flexibility in terms of hours worked will be required to deal with incidents as they occur.
This role can be hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week from home.
