Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a Passionate and caring Teaching Assistant to work in a wonderful Nursery and SEN school IN Warrington on a regular basis

The school caters for 2,3 and 4 year olds and children with Special Educational Needs

You will be supporting the class teacher and working in foundation phase, as a general Teaching assistant and occasionally on a 1-1 basis assisting with any tasks as directed

This will initially be on a temporary basis but could lead to permanent work if required by the school.

You should have:

- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- A proactive attitude
- A calm demeanor and encouraging nature
- Creativity, imagination and commitment to making a positive contribution to children’s learning.
- Excellent communication skills
- The drive and determination to make a difference
- Great team working skills

Skills and Qualifications

We specialise in recruiting Teaching Assistants (TA) who are qualified in the following;
- NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
- NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
- CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
- BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing).

SEN roles

Some TA roles will be for a general Teaching Assistant but we also require people who can work 1-1 with pupils with additional needs,

Experience in working with people with the following would be highly desirable
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Dyslexia
- Dyspraxia
- Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Profound and Moderate Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
- Severe Learning Difficulties
- Physical Disabilities (PD).
