We have a brand-new role for a company in Manchester with a large team already in place that you will be joining.
The Financial Services division has around 2 million customers and is one of our key strategic pillars. We have an exciting roadmap of investment to create an entirely new platform for our credit business. This will unlock opportunities to bring forwardnew customer propositions and grow the business

**The Role**

**Key Duties**
- Design, implement and monitor credit risk strategies making recommendations
- Monitoring of credit risk models to ensure benefits are delivered as expected together with the identification of triggers for model redevelopment
- Design, build and validation of credit risk models that deliver commercial benefits and improve customer outcomes for the group
- Work closely with all Lending Managers in Credit Risk team to understand opportunities and requirements for model development
- To provide key risk business statistics to Managers, Senior Managers and Directors within the company to be used in business performance reporting
- Coaching and mentoring junior analyst(s) and deputising for lending manager
**Requirements**:
- SQL or SAS - data analysis tools
- An understanding of modelling concepts and techniques
- A track record of delivering successful commercial outcomes through designing credit risk strategies
