Our customer journey extends beyond the purchase of our products and services and is complimented by the support we provide thereafter.
As a Customer Service Representative, you are one of the first point of contacts for our customer sites. You will deal with calls in a timely manner, ascertaining the nature of the call and logging them onto our internal job allocation portal. You will also follow up with engineers/team leaders and regional managers to resolve outstanding work issues and provide additional information on jobs. Undertaking a range of administrative tasks to support the wider team who co-ordinate and schedule the work of the engineers is a key aspect of the role.
Our service business provides 7-day coverage for our customers, so as part of this role you would be expected to work one weekend per month, on a rota’d basis including bank holidays, for which you will receive additional remuneration.
WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications)
- Previous experience working in a similar or related customer facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Persistent, resilient and also patient, recognising that some individuals you are supporting may be under pressure and possess less technical skills.
- Be organised, able to prioritise and multitask.
- Have a positive and can-do/flexible approach.
- Be a great team player, able to support your colleagues.
- Proficient with the suite of MS Office products.
- Able to work weekends shifts on a rolling 1 in 4 rota’d basis
