Overview

We are currently recruiting an Experienced Sewing Machinist for a well-established factory in London specialising in workwear manufacturing. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong sewing skills, eager to contribute to the production of high-quality têxtile products in a professional and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble garments and têxtile products according to patterns and specifications
- Perform various sewing tasks, including stitching, hemming, binding, and basic embroidery
- Accurately read and follow technical drawings, sewing patterns, and instructions
- Inspect finished garments for quality, fit, and workmanship
- Adjust machine settings to accommodate different fabric types and production requirements
- Conduct minor maintenance and troubleshooting on sewing equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a sewing machinist in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks and sitting for extended periods

Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 17:00
- Overtime and weekend availability as required
