Glasgow Bed Centre is looking for a Sales Associate to join our team

**What We Offer**:
**Full-time and Part-time hours available.**
**£10.50 per hour + incentives and commission on targets.**

**You will be working in our Glasgow City Centre Store with potential to relocate to Silverburn Shopping Centre.**

What will you be doing?
- Liaising with customers on the shop floor, selling our products and reaching weekly targets to hit for sales.
- Keeping track of order and delivery details utilising Microsoft office and spreadsheets.
- Organising and creating marketing and advertisement posts on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook.
- Using Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace and other sources to help advertise our products.
- Creating new ideas on how to boost customer footfall and improve our online presence.
- Using Canva or a similar app to create engaging content.
- Using Shopify to complete customer sales or edit the company website / or a willingness to learn how to use Shopify.

What we’re looking for:

- Must be have great social media knowledge and creative skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office - especially Excel and spreadsheets to keep track of business duties, deliveries and order tracking when putting customer sales through on the systems.
- Excellent marketing and communication skills where you have shown the ability to create and bring innovate ideas to a business - understanding their wants and needs.
- Capability to assess and initiate things pro-actively while also being a great team player.
- Confident and approachable when communicating with all stakeholders.
- Can do attitude to find solutions and positive mindset needed to confidently communicate with customers.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Experience in contributing to creative discussions and implementing new ideas to build positive company engagement.
- Social media marketing experience, creating and planning weekly posts.
- Small business experience - being a multi-tasker.
- Collaboration skills and ability to quickly connect with and build trust/credibility/rapport with stakeholders.
- Empathetic towards customer needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-35 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

- Glasgow, G1 1NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales (preferred)
- customer service (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
